a toolbar popup that searches Wikipedia, shows live suggestions as you type, and displays a clean article summary with a thumbnail and a link to the full article.
This extension does not collect any personal data. It has no accounts, no login, and no server. Everything it does happens locally on your device, and nothing is sold or shared.
Your recent searches (up to eight) are stored locally in your browser using the storage API. They never leave your device and are cleared when you uninstall the extension.
When you search or open an article, the extension requests Wikipedia’s public API (en.wikipedia.org) with your search terms, just like typing into the Wikipedia search box. The extension sends no data anywhere else.
