a tracker that shows the live position of the International Space Station on a map in the toolbar popup, with a trail and the current crew count.
This extension does not collect any personal data. It has no accounts, no login, and no server. Everything it does happens locally on your device, and nothing is sold or shared.
The station’s recent flight trail is stored locally in your browser using the storage API so the map can draw the path you have already seen. It never leaves your device and is cleared when you uninstall the extension.
The popup requests the public open-notify API (api.open-notify.org) for the station’s current position and crew list. These requests include your IP address, as any web request does. The extension does not request your location and sends nothing else anywhere.
