Desktop Pet shows a small pixel pet that walks along the bottom of the web pages you visit. It is a cosmetic companion that can remind you to take a break after a while. All of its drawing and behavior runs locally in your browser.
This extension does not collect any personal data. It has no accounts, no login, and no server of its own. It makes no network requests on its own.
To place the pet on the pages you visit, the extension injects a small visual layer into each page. It does not read page content, does not track which sites you visit, and does not record your browsing history. The pet only draws on top of the page and reacts to your clicks.
Your pet choice, size, speed, and break reminder setting are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. They never leave your browser and are cleared when you clear browser data or uninstall the extension.
Break reminders are computed locally from how long the page has been open. No timer data is sent anywhere.
