Chrome Skin Pack changes the colors of the browser frame, toolbar, tabs, and new tab page to match a retro theme you pick, such as XP, Vista, Y2K, or Aero glass. Everything it changes is cosmetic and happens entirely on your device.
This extension does not collect any personal data. It has no accounts, no login, and no server of its own. It makes no network requests on its own.
The skin you select is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device so the same look is applied the next time you open Chrome. It never leaves your browser and is cleared when you clear browser data or uninstall the extension.
The new tab page shows a clock, the date, a search box, and quick links to popular websites. The search box only opens a new search results page after you type something and press go. Quick links open the sites listed; nothing is tracked.
This extension does not ask for or use your location.
This extension makes no network requests of its own.
